Day 5 : Jeju Island Part IV

Location : Cheonjaeyeon Waterfall, Dongmun Market Place
Date : 28th October 2014

안녕...

"Legend states that this waterfall was named after seven nymphs who assisted Heaven's Emperor who descended at night to bathe and play in the water."
Interesting, right? Hurmm...macam familiar je mitos tu. To be honest, this place is really beautiful. I wish to spend more time here but.......

After struggling to find our way, we finally success the mission to be here at Cheonjaeyeon Waterfall. The admission fee is KRW2,500 and it open daily. If I'm not mistaken, this place will be closed to visitors at 6.30pm. However, please refer to KTO's website for confirmation.

This is the first waterfall out of three. It's so~~~beautiful. It's no joke. The water is blue and clear.

2nd waterfall. The distance between this two waterfall is not far from each other. But still...stairs and Korea cannot be separated. Luckily...dah penat-penat turun naik tangga, jalan-jalan...they provide bench and some space to lepaking. Tapi aku rasa tak boleh lepak macam nak picnic kot kat situ. Sebab aku tengok locals pun kejap-kejap je kat situ. Tapi rugi la kalau dah sampai lepak kejap-kejap je kan. Sebab kat sini memang view sangat awesome! Rasa macam tak nak balik. Hahahaaa...

We be able to cover two waterfalls only. Nak tau kenapa??? The third waterfall is quite far from the second one. I think it's more than 600m ahead. Therefore, to save time and the most important thing is to save our energy, we decide to stop here and get back to the entrance. Malaskan nak jalan jauh. Dah tak larat. Bateri dah nak habis.

We find this signboard on our way to 2nd waterfall, I guess. Kelakar juga lah ayat yang digunakan :D

This bridge is temporarily close due to some maintenance work. Feel a bit frustrated.

On the way back to our guesthouse, we stop by at Dongmun Market. It opens daily from 7.00 am until 8.00 pm..

The first thing come in mind is that this market is full with oranges. Can find it everywhere, inside and outside the building. They also sell food, various type of chocolate and tea, fruits, and many more. Ikan kering pun ada tau. A souvenir is also can be found here but with limited choices.

I've planned to buy some oranges here, just to feel the original taste of well-known Jeju's oranges. But they sell in bulk. So, I have to give up in the end. We only have 1 day left...how come we can finish all the oranges within 1 day, that's how I think. But come to my sense, I can just leave the balance in the guesthouse's kitchen (아이고...바보야 Dushhh...dush...dush...!).

p/s :  The watermark is here and there. Am sorry for the messy created.
