Day 2 : Singapore Part I

Assalam & 안녕...

Date : 31st January 2015
Location : Merlion Park & Singapore River
Direction : Raffles Place St.

**********

This morning, I planned to go to Merlion Park first, a famous landmark of Singapore. According to what I read, Merlion is a reimagining of lion and mermaid. It can be said that merlion is a half fish and half lion. Hihihiii...Merlion is a major tourist attraction at One Fullerton.

Upon exiting the station, I follow Battery Road direction and the first thing I've got to see is Singapore Land Tower building in front of me. Ada CIMB Bank ok...hahahaa. Facing the building, I walk to the left of the building where I can see Bank of China on my left. This bank is located at the junction of Battery Road and Flint St, but I just walk straight and actually I can already see Fullerton Hotel in front of me (pic no. 4). Walk to the right and I see the signboard in picture no 5. Just few metres from the signboard, there is a small escalator. What I need to do is only take the escalator and then follow all the signage inside the building. The escalator is actually leading me to the underground passage to the Merlion Park. So, tak perlulah aku berpanas berpeluh bagai walaupun hari masih agak pagi. Fuhhh~~Dalam ni gak ada traveltor so takdelah penat sangat sebab jarak dia agak jauhlah bagi aku.

Day 1 : Singapore Part II

Assalam & 안녕...

At previous entry, I said that I am lost. Alkisahnya...jalan punya jalan (yang aku rasa cam sangat jauh compared masa pegi) akhirnya jumpa gak station MRT. Station ni adalah berbeza daripada station yang aku tiba awal-awal tadi. That station is Nicoll Highway Station (Circle Line). ㅋㅋㅋ.....Blasah je la labu!

Everything happens for a reason...

Ada hikmahnya aku sesat. When I look around, somehow...I discover something. Is that it?

Day 1 : Singapore Part I

Assalam & 안녕...

Location : Bugis Junction, Kg Glam and Gardens by the Bay
Date : 30th January 2016

**********

The first place yang aku tuju ialah Bugis Street. To go there, I get off at Bugis Station Actually, when you exit the station you are already at Bugis Junction if you follow the left side. So I take the opposite side of Bugis Junction by escalator. You will face Bugis Street building across the road.

I just have a look inside the building. Don't spend too much here since it's almost noon at the time I reach there. Some more, I need to 빨리 빨리 find the hostel...this bag which I carried along seems heavy. A disadvantage of MRT station here is they don't provide locker, so I need to carry the bag where ever I go. Another option is that, keep it at the hostel. Luckily, I just bring my backpack but it is still tiring as I walk around in a hot weather.
From Bugis Street, I walk to Kg Glam. This one memang buat aku berpeluh. Mulanya berlagak takmo buka map. Bajet2 nak jadik local la...skali amik ko! Dok patah balik...patah balik...last2 duduk barang 5 minit kat Bugis Junction tu sebab penat dan panas.

Transportation card at Singapore

Assalam & 안녕...

I arrived at Changi Airport 15 minutes earlier than ETA. Am being so nervous and still doubt whether I can survive alone in foreign country. Hahaahaa...I'm lost about twenty minutes and don't know how can I get out from here. So, let's write it down everything hoping that it can be a guideline to everyone.

Q : How to go to city centre?

A : Arrive at Terminal 3 Changi Airport, go to Terminal 1 to take mrt and go around Singapore.

Q : How to go to Terminal 1?

A : Use Skyline to Terminal 1. Skyline is located at Departure Hall of Terminal 3. Just follow the signage.

Q : What should I do at Terminal 1?

A : Go downstair to buy EZ Link Card/Singapore Tourist Pass at Passenger Service Centre, located nearby the escalator at Changi Airport Station.

Q : What is the operation hours of Changi Airport Station's Passenger Service Centre?

A : 8.00am to 9.00pm daily

Q : How much is the cost of the cards?

A : Cost of EZ Link Card is SGD12 which SGD5 for the card cost and SGD7 is a value of the card. But, Singapore Tourist Pass had three different values. Choose the one that suit your usage depends on your number of stay. More information here

Q : What should I do next?

A : After buying the card, ride the mrt and you are now ready to start your journey.      출발 !

Card yang comel
Now...you have the card. It ensure you the easiest way and smooth your travel. No need to queue at ticket counter or machine to buy ticket which is wasting our time. As a traveller, time is sooooo much precious to us:)

This card is not only use for MRT, but it can also be used for busses, certain attractions, food and beverage. Haaa...multipurpose kan! Suka2....*clap hand 1000x*

Prelude of First Solo Trip 2016

Assalam & 안녕...

아싸!!! 미션 성공...
My first resolution to do solo trip was ended successfully during recent long weekend,
at the end of Jan. 2016 - a first month of every calender year!
축하해...

드디어!!!...

여행 전에, I've been in a great state of curiousity and worry since this trip marked as my first attempt of solo travel. Yes...it is just a neighbouring country, but for myself whom never go on a trip alone, it is such a big and hardest decision to make (it may becomes easier after this :D).

Typical me...
It's better late than never
So then, I've made up my mind and here we go!!!

HaHahaAAhhaaaa (gelak dengan nada riak!)
Kesimpulan yang aku dapat hasil daripada solo trip ni ialah :

Information/preparation kena tip-top...do own research!
JANGAN malu bertanya...ringankan mulut
I used to be ignorant...trip ni ajar aku to be ALERT!
LEARN & APPRECIATE as u travel (I did during my previous trips but when doing solo, it becomes more and more and more)
Mind state must always in a good shape
DON'T STRESS yourself too much...just have fun

Later, I will write what happened there and where I go. 지금 가지...인사!
