Soul Of Asia : Day 1 Part 2

Huhuhu...still in day 1. What a long.......story, isn't it! Okay, finish with the palace. We walk away to Gwanghwamun where Hangeul Statue, King Sejong and the statue of the most respected Korean naval commander, Admiral Yi Sun-Sin are located.

Ouww...since today is so hot, we buy these for ourselves. But the main thing is we are hungry! 네, 너무 배고파요. 아침 부터 아무것도 먹지아는데 (I don't eat anything since morning). This is Banana Milk or 바나나 우유 (pronounced as Banana Uyu). You have to try this first if you come to Korea for the first time...that's my friend's suggestion. Try it!! I bet you will like it. And most important is it makes your stomach full. At least for now...

We then visit KTO's Headquarter near by Gwanghwamun. If you feel this building is difficult to find, just look or ask for Citibank building. This building is nearby with each other. And it is actually located in front of the statues. But because we quite lose after hang around...that building seems so far from us. Huhhhh...never mind, it's our first day anyway. Tak rock la kalau tak sesat on your first day travel kan!

Guess...who I met at KTO? My long lost boyfriend...http://matcuoi.com

The last picture are with my current 남자 친구 but due to his busy schedule, we were unable to meet F2F :D lol....

It's 5.30 pm by the time we step out from KTO office. Now...it's for the most anticipating moment. Cheonggyecheon Stream...here we go!! Why am I really interested with this recreation space? Check it out here.

Beautiful stream in the middle of modern city
About 2 1/2 hours being here try to feel and breathe in the same air as Korean peoples. It's very refreshing and you won't regret spending your time in this stream... if only you are a type of nature lover.

We take the nearest subway station which is Gwanghwamun Station to Myeongdong Station to have dinner. Our first complete meal for today.

After having our dinner, we take a sight of a night life at Myeongdong. From my observation, price range at Myeongdong Underground Market is much cheaper than the outside one. But, shops in the underground market closed early around 9.00 - 9.30 pm. So if you are late, you may shop outside where many cosmetics brands, accessories, clothes and shoes offered. As a girl, my attention of course will be focused on cheaper cosmetics available. I can guarantee you won't come home with nothing in your hand. The cosmetics are much more cheaper compare to the one sold in my country. So...just be aware with your pocket!

>> Route : Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) ---> Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (Line 4) ---> Myeongdong Station (Line 4) = KRW1,050

Total Expenditure for Day 1 : KRW137,200 (Includes buy and top-up T-Money [KRW25,000], Dinner [KRW8,000], Guest house [KRW90,000/person for 5 days])
