Metasequoia-lined Road (메타세쿼이아길)

The ahjumma we met earlier suggests us to take a walk from Juknokwon and Metasequoia so that on the way there we will be able to pass through a beautiful stream. It is known as Gwanbang Jerim. So, we follow her suggestions. It is easy to find the stream. Unfortunately, there is work in progress in the stream, unable us to enjoy the scenery. We just passed by and keep on walking to targeted destination.

 

Lawaknya we keep on walking and walking without even know whether that is the right way to go. It is  quite far...until we find a signage and it shows a direction to Metasequoia (Look at that...1.7km to Juknokwon and another 0.3km to Metasequoia. That's mean we walk 2km in total. OMG!!!) Tapi view memang awesome la siap lalu belakang rumah orang lagi.

 

 So...jalanlah kami sejauh tu sampai jumpa main road. Ada juga jumpa tempat sewa basikal. Tapi tak pasti plak berapa sewa dia. Kitorang kan gigih nak jalan jauh-jauh camtu. Macam nak tercabut kaki. Bila dah sampai main road tu just cross the road and walk to the left where the ticket booth is. The entrance fee is only KRW2,000 and you can go to the both side. Left side is more popular and have a nice view I guess as crowd is there compared to the right side.

 

 

                 

 



 

There's just a few people (or may be none) in the right side. Dekat right side tu jugak ada ahjussi guard kat situ so keep the ticket safely if nak masuk within both side. 

 

 

Around 3.45pm, we plan to go back to the terminal. Even though our train back to Seoul is at 7.00pm, we don't want to take a risk afraid there will be a traffic congestion later. So, we wait for bus #311 at the roadside. We take the same way to go back to the train station at reach there before 5.00pm. Oh no!!! That mean...we have a longggggg time to wait for departing. Surprisingly, Gwangju is totally different from Seoul. Even it is now a rush hour where people suppose to finish work and go home, there is no traffic jam. NOT AT ALL...OKAY! Haa~~even if I take my own sweet time at Metasequoia, it is still ok. No need to be afraid that you might catch into traffic jam *sad*.   

 

So what we do to kill time? Hahaaa...nothing. We just watch outside and inside...here and there. Huhuuu...membazir masa sungguh. Bosan dah duduk lama sangat, here we go.

This is what we do to kill time. Heheee...hotteok and odeng (betul ke aku eja ni). Lama gak dok dalam kedai tu. Sebelah kaunter tiket je pun. Kena plak time tu suhu dah start drop. Sejuk wei!
