Metasequoia-lined Road (메타세쿼이아길)

Assalam & 안녕...

Date : 30th April 2015
Location : Metasequoia-lined Road
Direction : Bus #311

**********

The ahjumma we met earlier suggests us to take a walk from Juknokwon and Metasequoia so that on the way there we will be able to pass through a beautiful stream. It is known as Gwanbang Jerim. So, we follow her suggestions. It is easy to find the stream. Unfortunately, there is work in progress in the stream, unable us to enjoy the scenery. We just passed by and keep on walking to targeted destination.

Lawaknya we keep on walking and walking without even know whether that is the right way to go. It is  quite far...until we find a signage and it shows a direction to Metasequoia (Look at that...1.7km to Juknokwon and another 0.3km to Metasequoia. That's mean we walk 2km in total. OMG!!!) Tapi view memang awesome la siap lalu belakang rumah orang lagi.

We take the earliest train to Gwangjusongjeong Station and arrive at Juknokwon around 10.30am (Arrive at station around 8.30am). Entrance fee is only KRW3,000. Masa sampai tu, de ahjussi tengah renovate entrance juknokwon ni. So tak dapatlah amik gambar landmark Juknokwon ni.

Fanta-stick Musical

Assalam & 안녕...

Date : 29 April 2015
Location : NH Arthall Fantastic Exclusive Theatre
Direction : Sodaemun Station Line 5 Exit 6

It's still raining when we finished our meals. But we have to go now as we still have place to go. By hook or by crook we need to reach this place before 4.30pm. We are going to watch theatre. Yehaaa!!! Yes...theatre. Your eyes won't lie to you. For the first time ever, we are gonna watch theatre...Hangeul theatre. Fanta stick musical. Faham ke kitorang ni?? Buat-buat paham sudah.

Tapi time ni lagilah sadis. Dahlah hujan...sesat barat pulak tu. Ntah mana-mana je aku pegi. Mula-mula kitorang pegi teater yang dekat dengan Deuksugang Palace tu...tapi agassi yang kat kaunter tu kata bukan kat situ. Dia suruh kami tempat lain. Aku pun dah tak ingat kat mana...yang aku tau ada dua tiga kali kami pusing tempat sama. Baik-baik perut kenyang, terus rasa lapar balik. Nak naik hangin pun ada. Time tu plak kaki dah start sakit. Kasut yang aku pakai tapak nipis. Lagilah jadi 'ajinomoto' dalam drama aku arini kan. Tanya orang pun...diorang tak tau. Last-last ni nasib baik la ada jumpa agassi ni tolong kitorang. Rupa-rupanya dah tak jauh pun dari tempat kitorang tu.

NH Kyunghyang Art Hill located at Sodaemun Station Line 5 Exit 6! Rupanya tempat tu memang dekat giler dengan exit subway tu. Keluar je Exit 6 tu terus pandang kanan. Dah nampak bangunan tu. Tapi pelik betul...apsal aku tak nampak eik. Rasanya dah turun station yang betul dah tadi. Sampai kat situ dah naik lencun. Serabai betol! Masuk dalam tu kena turun eskalator sebab teater tu letaknya kat 2nd floor. Musical tu aku dah booked online masa kat Malaysia lagi. Just show the booking confirmation at counter, nanti dia akan bagi tiket. Harga masa tu KRW42,000 dan dia caj credit card.

Sujebi 수제비 Insadong

Assalam & 안녕...

Sambungan from here

Location : Sujebi restaurant
Day of operation : Monday to Sunday - Closed during holidays
Operation hour : 11.30 am - 9.30 pm
Direction : Angguk Station Exit 6. Go straight about 100m and turn left. Pass by Ssamziegil. After passed by pharmacy SudoYakguk, walk into Insadong 10-gil road on the left. Walk about 20m and the signboard to the restaurant can be seen on the right across Korean Traditional House '인사동 수체비'

**********

Actually it is not so hard to find this restaurant if you alert with the signage (or maybe know how to read hangeul). Tapi kitorang tiga empat kali gak pusing-pusing kat lorong tu sebab tak nampak signage kedai.

Yang dalam kotak merah tu la nama kedainya, yang kami tak perasan
When see above signage...dah senang. Just follow the direction. Masuk je lorong-lorong tu.

By the time sampai, orang memang tengah ramai (Gambar takde sebab dah lapar and malas nak keluarkan kamera hujan-hujan camni). Lunch hour kan. Tapi nasib baik ada satu meja yang memang cun-cun untuk 2 orang baru je kosong. Tu rezeki namanya :D

A Notes to Myself

안녕...

Last week during seminar, I discover something interesting which I never thought about. Though it's a shame to share it here but I think it is something new and useful to everyone. As someone who works and studies in accounting field (even now!), it's quite embarassing to only realize about it just right that time.

I know the equation but I not even once have deep thought to apply it straight into life. Hahahaaa...how ignorent I am! I know I am that kind of person...and now I know how bad my ignorent is.

Yes, you are right madam! We cannot control the fixed cost. My lecturer said,
whether you like it or not, you still have to pay for it. We cannot avoid it. A rental, loans and so on. But...you can control the variables costs. That...you can reduce your commitment. You can enjoy your life!

Think into that...what kind of variable cost I have? Hahahaa...
Not so much...
Never mind...
I will work for my dream!
Yeayyy!!! Fighting!!!
여러분도 파이팅!

Sepiring IOI City Mall

안녕...

Hai laaa...lamanya tak masuk sini. Rindu lak rasa nak membebel sorang-sorang. Kali ni nak cerita pasal makan plak...walaupun entry pasal Spring Trip aritu tu pun tak start lagi. Dok ada lagi kat draft tu. Saja je nak peram lama-lama bagi busuk :B

Ni kejadian hari semalam di mana tetiba datang last minute idea nak makan kat Sepiring. Ye...Sepiring nama restaurant tu. Takde dua tiga piring...satu sahaja titik!

Sepiring ni letaknya di IOI City Mall berdepan dengan District 21 kat level L1 tu dan bersebelahan dengan ice rink. So bolehlah cuci-cuci mata sambil makan. So senang je nak cari kedai ni. Asyik makan Hansik je...arini kita back to root ok! Sebenarnya ni kali kedua aku makan kat sini.

Sepiring Uniquely Malaysia offers an exciting menu of traditional Malaysian meals in a contemporary style, ranging from its signature Nyonya Nasi Ulam with Ayam Percik and Nasi Lemak with Rendang Ayam Kunyit, to its scrumptious Nyonya Laksa and Spicy Smoked Beef Pasta, to its homemade Yam Cake, Penang Rojak and BBQ Chicken and Grilled Cheese Toast.
Source : Google
Disebabkan baru dua kali makan kat sini, so recommendation pun berdasarkan apa yang aku pernah makan dan ikut selera aku je la. Lain orang lain seleranya. Itu hak masing-masing...takde sapa nak halang.

Spring di 'Kampung' Lagi!!!

Assalam & 안녕...

On 28th April, I fly back to Korea with hope to enjoy spring. Even though some said that this year spring bloom earlier than expected, as the ticket has been bought few months before...nothing I can do. So...PIC and me fly with hope that there is still saki baki spring left. It's a short trip of 5D4N, with very tight budget hahahaa...Just to satisfy ourselves and get an intro of spring.

As usual, after settle all the immigration process we heading to convenience store to reload T-Money card. This time I am using AREX to downtown Seoul. Like I said earlier, this is a budget trip and therefore we choose everything that cheap and save our pocket. Agak jauh gak la nak pegi AREX ni, but it is cheap! murah so no problem. Time ni kat platform tak ramai orang. Sempatlah snap sana snap sini macam for timer. Padahal ni kali ketiga aku datang Korea tapi tak pernah amik gambar kat Incheon Airport. Sadis!

Officiate new bag. Hikhikk...world has to know! lols
We will stay at Euljiro 3-ga. I'll review the guesthouse in separate entry later on.

Taknak  buang masa, lepas check in je terus pergi Bukchon Hanok Village. Pegi lagi!!!! Hahaaa..aku tak puas hati pegi last trip tak dapat cari 8 photo spots tu. Tapi rasa tak sedap hati gak sebab time ni titik-titik hujan pun turun. Renyai sangat pun tak...lebat sangat pun tak. Tapi basah gak la kalau redah je. Direction leh refer kat previous entry di sini

Namsan Guesthouse 3

안녕...

Finally our thirteenth days story of SK has come to an end. Thank God...we manage to make it happen. Even though some places had to drop off from the itinerary, but still I get to cover Seoul-Busan-Jeju successfully (of course with a little bit drama).

I would like to review the last guesthouse we stayed during our last three day of the trip, which is Namsan Guesthouse 3. Located at Myeongdong area, it is just a perfect place to stay during our visit to Korea.

Direction :

Source : Namsan GH's website

Room Rate :
Refer to the website

Advantage(s) :
  • Located at the 'heart' of Seoul City Centre
  • 10 minutes walking to the cable car station of Namsan Tower
  • Nearby to airport bus location
  • Walking distance to Namdaemun Market
Review of Room :

I booked twin room for 2 nights :-
  • Equipped with TV, Free Wi-Fi, Shower Room, Small Towel, Toiletries
  • The space is limited
  • Room and toilet is clean
  • Easy access to the Myeongdong Shopping Area - hari2 boleh shopping
  • Less hilly compared to the another Namsan Guesthouses' building
  • Price a bit high - not a big deal as the location is strategic
  • Had elevator to room - don't have to climb stairs with heavy luggage
Recommendation :

Recommended to stay if price is not a big issue. Except for the price and room size, everything is almost perfect.

I forgot to capture some photos of the room. But it is just the same as in their website. More information here

Till then...안녕

Day 13 : Last Day of My Autumn Trip

안녕...

5th November 2014...today is our last day at Korea. After spending twelve days, this trip is finally getting to the end. We wake up early in the morning to pack everything into luggage. Check out is at 11.00am and before that we need to go to Namdaemun to do last minute shopping. There's still few things need to buy...padan muka sama aku sebab tak beli souvenir awal-awal.

Flight at 4.25pm, so we still have few hours before heading to airport. I walk around at Myeongdong but didn't buy anything. Mission failed! Then, we take subway to Heohyeon Station Exit 5 for Namdaemun Market. Since it is early in the morning, the area still quiet. Not so many people around the place.

At 12.00pm we take our luggage stored at the guesthouse's office. Hasil tangkapan dimasukkan ke dalam beg. Ampunnn...bertambahlah berat beg yang nak diusung tu nanti. Nak cari kat mana airport bus tu satu hal. Nasib baiklah aku dah cari siap-siap direction.

Information :

Airport bus fare : KRW10,000
Direction : Walk down straight from Namsan GH3. Turn right to the alley opposite 7-11. Walk straight till the end of the alley and cross the road. Walk to the right a few metres and there will be Ahjussi waiting for you :)

Tak lama pun tunggu bus...bus dah sampai. Bus fare bayar kat Ahjussi Driver tu. An hour later, we reach Incheon International Airport. Tiba-tiba rasa sedih pula nak balik. Settle all the immigration process, we explore the airport, get into the souvenir shop, restaurant, look for surau (jauh giler surau dia. Tapi ok lah...)...until they called-off for departure.

We safely landed at KLIA on 9.30pm. 25 minutes earlier than expected time arrival. Thank God! I will cherish this 13 days memory forever. First time touring around Korea...katenya. KL-Seoul-Busan-Jeju-Seoul-KL. I really appreciate the experiences. To all my travel buddies, thank you for everything. I would like to apologize for the huru-hara, kesilapan dan kekhilafan sepanjang trip ni. Thank you for being my travel buddies. You know who you are, right 친구!

Goodbye Seoul...Goodbye Korea
Till we meet again...

Day 12 : Everland

Location : Everland
Date : 4th November 2014

안녕...

We left guesthouse early in the morning, around 7.15am. Why??? Because we are going to Everland. Horayyy!!! ㅋㅋㅋ~ The journey itself will take about one and a half hour till two hours. Added with the time that people are rushing to work.
Information :

Operating hour : Vary by month
Entrance fee : Foreigners can download the discount coupon here
Direction : We take route by subway till Jamsil Station Exit 6. Walk to the left few metres and cross the road. Do not cross until the end of the junction. The bus stop is at the middle of the road. Take bus no. 5700. More information here

9.01am...It is still early but look at the queue! Most of them are local. Somehow I wonder...are they not working? Are the kids not going to school? Hurmmm...on the other side I really impress on how successful their domestic tourism. I am working in tourism line and I really hope one day I can see our domestic tourism boost as much as Korea tourism industry.

Day 11 : N Seoul Tower

Location : N Seoul Tower
Date : 3rd November 2014

안녕...

Back from Nami Island, we hang around Myeongdeong for a while. Hahaha...rasa macam tak lengkap lak kalau sehari tak singgah Myeongdeong. Padahal bukan beli apa. Just sightseeing...

Our next destination is N Seoul Tower or Namsan Tower.

Information :

Cable car ticket : KRW8,000 (Currently, the price increase to KRW8,500 for return ticket)
Operating hour : All year around from 10.00am to 11.00pm
Direction : Myeongdeong St Exit 3. Facing 7-11, go straight until Pacific Hotel. In front of Pacific Hotel, take right junction and go straight until stairs to cable car station on the right.

Actually, from cable car station visitors can opt for walking up till the tower instead of riding cable car. Review from other travelers said the view along the away up to tower is nice but hilly (from the stairs, cross the road and take a path to go up). But definitely, we take the easier way hahhaaa...ride the cable car. Tapi aku punya bijak pandai pegi beli ticket for one way je. Haaa...sadis.

Day 11 : Autumn in Nami Island

Location : Nami Island
Date : 3nd November 2014

안녕...

The most anticipated place to go during this trip is --------> Nami Island. It's not that I've never been there but the time is just not right. This time I really hope it works. Looking at surrounding...the feel is there. Let's pictures tell everything.

1 August 2015

Day 10 : FNC Entertainment

Location : FNC Entertainment, KTO Gangnam, Dongdaemun, Ewha Women University
Date : 2nd November 2014

(It's my turn now. Let's meet my husband. :D My wish at this trip is to go to FNC Entertainment. Yes...because CNBLUE JYH is there and I am curious. I am curious about what kind of workplace he goes to...where it is...how to get there...like that. Of course, I am not a stalker. I just want to know.) Is my sentences correct? How I wish someone can correct me! Anyone???

So then we are going to Apgujeong Rodeo area. Ni kawasan orang kaya. Bila dah nampak dengan mata sendiri, baru tau. Once you exit the subway station, the environment is totally different. You can feel the richness and glamorous of this area. The buildings design are also different...it's a modern city anyway. How to get to FNC Entertainment?

Day 10 : Seoul Forest

Location : Seoul Forest
Date : 2nd November 2014

안녕...

It's our 10th day in Korea. Time surely flies so fast. We start a little bit late today as the itinerary is more relax. 오디갈까 오늘?

A~during reading a blog prior to my departure, I've found an entry regarding this place. Seoul Forest (서울 숲).

Information :

Admission fee : Free
Operating Hour : Open all year around
Direction : Seoul Forest Station (Bundang Line) Exit 3. Walk straight about 5 minutes.

The journey takes about 20 minutes from our guesthouse (Euljiro 3-ga). This forest consists 5 parks (Ecological park, Cultural Art park, Nature Experiencing Study Field, Wetlands Ecological park and Hangang River Waterside park-which is I like the most)  and it is said to rapidly developing into the premium city park of Korea like Hyde Park in London and Central Park in New York.

The above view is a walkway to the entrance gate. There are few entrance gates but we decide to go in through the first gate. As expected, this park is filled with Ahjumma and Ahjussi who were exercising. Rajin betul dorang ni berjoging pagi-pagi. Besides, parents can be seen bringing together their children as today is a weekend.

By the way, don't forget to get a map at the info booth as this park is actually quite big. The map is useful especially if you don't have much time to spend here. Other than walking, we can also rent a bicycle with for KRW3,000 for single bike or KRW6,000 for tandem bike.

Day 9 : Gyeonggi-do Explorace Part II

Location : Nami Island & Petite France
Date : 1st November 2014

안녕...

Continued from here

Hop on the same bus (schedule taken at information centre at Gapyeong Station), we go to Petite France. Running Man, Secret Garden and My Love From the Star's fans will definitely come to this place. This is a filming location of Running Man where Nickhun as a guest. Hahaaa...that's the only episode shot there that I can recall, mainly because Nickhun is there. Though, this is my second time because my PIC never been here.

There not so much here. If you are a big fan of these two, there's nothing to lose by spending time here. 아니면, 안가 도 괜찮아요.

Information :

Admission fee :KRW 8,000
Operating hour : 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

How good it feels if I live in this kind of house. Calm, cool and green...
View heading to Petite France. What a refreshing scenery! Hope I can play with it just like in some variety show. *variety-show-syndrome-influence*

21 July 2015

Day 9 : Gyeonggi-do Explorace

Location : Nami Island & Petite France
Date : 1st November 2014

안녕...

Today, we are suppose to cover Nami Island and Petite France. We go out around 8 o'clock in the morning. The journey will take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. But I forgot that today is Saturday, a weekend, that I should avoid to be in a place like Nami Island. What should I do now? After a week, my brain cannot function properly anymore. Myself alone...cannot digest anymore. Too tired to think and plan!  Hurghhhhh~~

Let it be. Just follow the flow then...I've decided. As usual from Euljiro 3-ga Station, we take a subway to Gapyeong Station. Going up and down...transfer line few times...so tiring! Why there's so many stairs in Korea? Hahahaa...my heart start complaining. Who cares?! No matter how many stairs there are, I still feel comfortable being here...진심으로. Dah...tak payah nak drama!

There are so many people today as I've expected. Impression ntah no. berapa...As usual, those Ahjumma and Ahjussi wear hiking attire never fail to impress me with their active life style.

Going outside the station and see a long queue at taxi stand...ok, cancel to take cab to Nami Island Jetty. We wait for Gapyeong Tour Bus, just in front of the Information Centre. After 10 minutes, the bus arrive and fare is still the same KRW5,000.

20 July 2015

Day 8 : Teardrops in the Rain

Location : Ssamziegil, Insadong & Itaewon
Date : 31st October 2014

안녕...

From Gyeongbokgung Palace, we move to Insadong. Insadong and Buckhon is located at the same area. The station is also the same, what make it different is only the exit number.

Direction to Insadong

Anguk Station Exit 5. Go straight 100m and turn left.

Fee

Free

What they have in Insadong? What can we do there? Shopping!!! Hahahaa...there are a lot of souvenir shops with different and uniqe designs. Compared to Namdaemun, the price is a little bit pricey but you can find different designs that you won't get if you shop at Namdaemun. Of course, the quality is better too. Honestly, I prefer Insadong than Namdaemun to shop. We can also find variety of K-foods especially at the back of the alley. It's up to yourselves to choose according to own preferences. On top of that, this area is a combination of arts and cultures.

Haaa...kat Insadong ni lah yang aku maksudkan 'Teardrops in the Rain'. Gempak giler tajuk post. Harus tak gempak??? My money is gone. Here...here...here!!! Unintentionally, I shop quite a lot of stuffs here. I repeat...UNINTENTIONALLY! Hahaaa...alasan, kan! I don't even know what I've bought for. Aigooo! Woman...sometimes can be so dangerous when it comes to money

Before, I read about Ssamziegil. During my first visit last year, I saw this building located in between of other shops. But I didn't go inside so this time I take this opportunity to go in. Walk around and cuci mata. They have over 70 shops including handicraft stores, souvenir shops, art galleries, restaurants and more. More information here They open from 10am to 10.30pm.

Day 8 : Gyeongbukgong Palace

Location : Gyeongbokgung Palace
Date : 31st October 2014

안녕...

Continued from here

Have I ever said before that I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace again? Yes, again! But I think this time luck is on my side. Given a chance to keep on witness Allah's beautiful creation make me feel how lucky I am. At least, I've achieved my target to be in Korea during peak autumn season. Thank you Allah :D

This is my second time here after my first visit last year. I have to admit that Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the must-visit place to see autumn foliage. It's so beautiful. Me and my PIC pun jakun-jakun je bila tengok semua ni. Well...we don't have this in our country!. Hahahaaa...aku apatah lagi. Nampak tak betapa jakunnya aku. Kata lah apa nak kata...aku redha.

Direction to Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Station Palace (Line 3) Exit 5. Just walk straight. Back entrance of the palace can be seen from the exit.

Kung Jung Restaurant 공정

안녕...

Nowadays, there are so many Korean restaurant in Malaysia. Some maybe suits you well...some may not. A friend brought me here somewhere around last year if I'm not mistaken. And we end up repeating this place again and again. Sedap sangat la tu kononnya :)

This Korean Japanese Restaurant located at 3rd floor of PNB Darby Park at Jalan Binjai, KL. I've came here few times and could be said that it is one of my Korean favourite  restaurant. I would love to recommend this restaurant to Korean food lover out there.

Besides the food taste, the facilities and environment is good as well. It operates 6 days a week and will be closed on Sunday. Parking lot is also available outside and inside the building, so parking won't be a problem to customers. There's also Surau located at 5th Floor of the building.

Day 7 : Seoul P1

Location : Namdaemun Market, Deuksugung Palace, Gwanghwamun, Cheongyecheon Stream
Date : 30th October 2014

안녕...

Start our early day with Namdaemun Market (남대문 시장). Moh ler kite perabih duit kat sini...heheee!
Macam2 ada. Tu baru sikit...Juling mata dibuatnya!

"...Namdaemun Market is one of the oldest continually running markets in South Korea, and one of the largest retail markets in Seoul..." - wikipedia
Malaysians especially really like this place, I guess. I can see them everywhere here. I don't feel like I am in foreign land when I am here. I can hear "Apa khabar", "Selamat Datang", "Murah-murah", "Terima kasih" everywhere. Perhaps that are all they know it's more than enough though...although the purpose is to attract buyers, the thing is they have an effort.

A place that can't be missed...렝땅 (Lengddang). Many brooches and all kind of accessories can be found at 2nd floor of this building. Quite cheap and possible to bargain especially if you buy in bulk. Bear in mind, it will be closed on Sunday and daily operation will be until around 6.00pm.

Direction :

Heohyeon Station (Exit 5). Turn right and walk straight until you see information centre's sign and turn right.

22 April 2015

Day 6 : Welcome Back to Seoul!!!

Location : Hongdae
Date : 29th October 2014

안녕...

Ok...time ni sebenarnya ada cite yang sangat tak best sejak aku jejakkan kaki ke Korea. Memang rasanya aku takkan lupakan sampai bila2. I feel sorry for my friend since this is her first time here and it seems like today will be her unforgettable day!

Our flight touch down Gimpo Airport quite late from the scheduled. Masa dekat Jeju flight kitorang tu delay I think almost 1 hour juga la. Selesai semua kat airport, kitorang terus naik subway pergi Hongik, akan stay kat satu GH ni (HG...bukan nama sebenar. Gitu~) GH ni memang dekat dengan subway station. So senanglah nak gerak ke mana2.

Agak sesat jugaklah masa carik GH ni. Actually bukan sesat cuma kitorang je yang tak perasan sebab signage dia kat ats. Kitorang lak jalan menonong. Padanlah mukakan! Approach one girl ni plak...dia kata maybe seberang jalan. Pulak! Tapi nasib baik gak kitorang tak ikut ape dia kata tu. Kalo tak...nak heret beg yang berat tu...pengsan. Last2 Allah nak tolong agaknya...kitorang nampak gak signage GH tu. Alhamdulillah...Tapi jangan ingat masalah selesai.

Pegilah kat receptionist dia. Wahh..meriah sambutannya. Cakap...cakap...pastu dia kata, 'Sorry...' Ah sudah...kenapa???

Roses LED Garden Exhibition, Dongdaemun Design Plaza

안녕...

<My Bucket List> Roses LED Garden Exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is back!!!

Date : 28th October 2014

Seopjikoji

It is actually located quite near from Seongsan Ilchulbong, about 10 minutes by car. This place is known for a filming location of All-In-House. However...me, myself, are not sure what kind of drama it is or who's the actors. Btw, I am not a K-drama fan at that time. From review I've made earlier, the best time to come here is during spring.

The entrance
From the entrance to the filming location is quite far, I guess. Due to some reason, I didn't went up to the site. Just here...at the entrance. Sedih tau! It's okay, Self...will be here again some day!

Day 5 : Jeju Island Part II

Location : Seongsan Ilchulbong (성산일출봉)
Date : 28th October 2014

안녕...

Today we are going to southern part of Jeju Island which is Seogwipo. It takes about 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours from Jeju City depends on your driving skill. Our first destination is Seongsan Ilchulbong, another UNESCO World Heritage site.

Also called ‘Sunrise Peak’, is an archetypal tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions upon a shallow seabed about 5 thousand years ago
Since the main purpose is to watch sunrise, we go out at 4.00am and arrive there around 5.15am. It still dark and quiet when we arrive there. But a few people start to go up to be at the peak before sunrise. We start hike around 5.30am and reach the peak at 6.15am. Huarghhh...penat!!!

Hiking dalam gelap. Masing2 tak terfikir nak bawak torchlight. Nasib baik trek ok...

Day 4 : Jeju Island

Location : Gimnyeong Maze Park, Manjanggul Cave, Mysterious Road & Samnyang Black Sand   Beach
Date : 26th November 2014

안녕...

While searching the information on the attraction at Jeju Island prior my departure to Korea, I've found that it is necessary for travelers to get the right direction on how to go to one place and the right phone number of the place or nearby attraction. It is because if you are driving and had GPS in your car, it is very much helpful to you. The GPS require us to key in the phone number of the place, then it will guide us there. However, it might be inconvenient if the information or phone number you have is wrong. We get lose few times due to the information we had is not accurate.

 *********
 Gimnyeong Maze Park

There are actually have two maze in Jeju Island. The biggest one is Maze Land (where Running Man filmed one of their episode) and the other one is Gimnyeong Maze Park. Since we don't have much time, we go to the nearest one from the city which is Gimnyeong Maze Park. The entrance fee is only KRW3,300.

Rent a Car at Jeju Island

HOW TO GO AROUND JEJU ISLAND?

There are 4 options that can be considered to go around Jeju Island :
  1. By public transport - Public bus/taxi
  2. By tour bus - For example is Yeha Bus Tour. A discount will be given to the guests of their guesthouse >> More Info
  3. By rental car - I booked a car with KT Kumho
  4. Rent a motorcycle
During my visit, I use rental car to explore Jeju Island. I only have 2 full days to cover attractions at Jeju Island. Of course...it won't be enough to cover all the places with a limited times. Then, I have a reason to come again right!!

Day 3 - Busan Part IV

Location : Heundae Beach
Date : 26th November 2014

안녕...

Nampak tak how long I take to write the next entry??? 미안해...to myself ㅋㅋㅋ. Class has start and I need to pay more attention...to be more focus on my study since the subjects are getting harder and harder. Plus, I need to concentrate on my job. Arghhh...so many things to do as sometimes I don't even know which one to be my priority. Never mind, no matter what...life must go on. 힘!!!화이팅!!!

This entry is actually a continuation from here

Direction to Heundae Beach :
As I come from Nurimaru Apec, I choose to just walk and it takes about 15-20 minutes. Or else, you may refer here. There is Heundae Station if you prefer to go by subway. However, from my experience it is quite far to walk from the station to the beach.

Heundae beach is a famous beach in Busan and South Korea. Personally, I'd love to spend more time if I come here again in the future. Just to enjoy the night view, of course to see the sunset and to muhasabah diri! (Gedik tol muhasabah diri sampai Korea. Hahahaaa...) The beach is so beautiful with the white sand and blue ocean. The other reasons are due to 아버님 어머님 is staying here at one of those apartments perhaps 히히히히 (tak dapat jumpa anak, dapat merasa sipi-sipi kat mana PIL tinggal pun takpela. Dushhhh! Senget!...Huntong2 terserempak. Who knows~~ mode : gedik!).

Mungkinkah bangunan yang tinggi itu???

Day 3 - Busan Part III

Location : Nurimaru Apec, Busan
Date : 26th December 2014

안녕...

Alkisahnya...It's already noon when we've came back to Toseong Station. As planned, we're heading to Busan Mosque and have lunch at Cappadocia. This so cute restaurant located just behind the mosque. It's easy to find it and I don't have any problem to find these two places as there are seems attached to each other. Toseong Station is far away from Dusil Station. Even though we don't have to transfer any lines (both are at Line 1), the subway will stop at 21 stations before it reach Dusil Station. It takes about 1 hour or may be 1+ hour to arrive. Sempatlah bangun tido...bangun tido.

Tadaaaaa~

Day 2 - Busan

Location : Busan, South Korea - BIFF, Gukje Market, Jagalchi Market, Yongdusan Park, Busan Tower, Gwangalli Beach
Date : 25th October 2014

안녈...

We moved to Busan this morning by KTX on 7.40am. The journey will take about 3 hours to reach Busan. We are actually almost missed the train. Too busy taking photos here and there. Time tu rasa menyesal tak keluar awal.Dahlah nak ke platform agak jauh...But we managed to board in the train. Dalam kelam-kabut tu boleh pula tersalah coach. Tapi dengan confidentnya tegur mamat Korean tu kata dia salah tempat. Padahallllll...ok time ni aku rasa macam dah malu tahap gaban. Cabuttttttt...

Scenery on the way to Busan. Pagi tu agak fogging.

Photo taken in front of Busan Station's landmark
As it still early in the morning, we ended up sleep almost half of the journey
